The ease of access and availability and the people down to the maids so nice and warm
Could have better television like peacock or HBO for example
It was lovely but rooms were small
Small rooms, particularly tor bathroom
Location good, valet parking good
In the middle of the night around 0330 our room filled up with a terrible burning smell. It smelled like plastic burning or something on fire. There is no exhaust in the bathroom and the window would only open so much. Called the nighttime manager who basically said he could do nothing nor help us until the day shift manager showed up. That was a lie and he went home. The maintenance guy came up and smelled our room and felt the wall and said our room was not ok to stay in. The thermostat broke heated up the wall and was melting wires. Other than the valet person and the maintenance guy no one cared what we went through. The amount of toxic air my wife and I were breathing to be woken up out of a dead sleep was unreal. We couldn't move rooms because we were leaving in the am and it was already late in the am before this was fixed. To say no one cared is beyond words. The day shift manager said what do you want me to do? Then proceeded to say we will give you free valet parking lol. I had to ask for a discount which made me feel crappy. The room itself was filthy mold in the bathroom and dust everywhere like no one really cleans it properly. I know it's an older hotel but I will never stay there again nor will I tell anyone to stay there. They should be embarrassed by their response to an emergency. Everyone working there was shocked except for who was in charge.
Check in for a platinum member was horrible
