Mercure Perth Hotel

The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and the housekeeping team work hard to keep a tired hotel comfortable for guests. Breakfast was as good a selection as any other hotel and I must say the food product quality was good too. Ask for a poached egg - chef made them to perfection.

The hotel needs an upgrade. The carpet in my room was threadbare and the bathroom decor was straight from a 1980s movie set. It should be noted the building itself is an old Mill and efforts have been made to keep this heritage - but the black paint and decorative Ironmongery are not sympathetic.

Good location

did not enjoy the breakfast as was severely undercooked not good value for money, did complain but got nowhere!!!!! and still made to pay even though we did not eat

Pushing two single beds together and calling it a kingsize bed.

rooms could do with an update, very dark, loud noises can be heard from the streets.
