Location and history
The facility itself is quite impressive, and we were fortunate to be upgraded to a room with the four-poster bed. It felt more luxurious than most places we've stayed, and they had a nice lounge area where we could order a light meal and some drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. Also, there are several breathtaking walks on the property to enjoy -- unfortunately, we did not have the time to go on an extended walk, but we did manage to take in some of the beautiful landscape.
Part of the beauty of this location is also one of the more challenging aspects of it -- it is remote, and the roads to get to it can be difficult to navigate, especially if you are not familiar with the area. It takes a long time to travel up to the place, and it is better suited for those wishing to stay and enjoy what is on site, not explore nearby towns.

Quite happy
location was super and the views amazing. There were several walks to go on and suitable for different levels of exercise. The bar was cozy and the meals were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
The cost of some of the whiskeys were a bit high!
