Friendly staff
Very noisy, at night, I actually booked out a day early due to clientele at the hotel.
Reception staff were very helpful, with Barbara telling me of a good local, family run restaurant that I enjoyed and returned to during my stay. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Porta Nueva station and a short walk to Parco Valentino and Ponte Umberto across the river PO. Decent breakfast and good wifi. Good value overall.
The doors to rooms are both dark and shiny and their numbers are above so difficult to see. Street outside can be noisy. All towels changed every which is not necessary for short stay.
I recently stayed at Hotel Due Mondi in Turin. First of all, I want to say that the staff was truly lovely—very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated.
The hotel itself is unfortunately in need of a serious refresh. The room I stayed in was not in good shape: a power socket was coming loose from the wall, and the shower door was falling off its rail. These small but significant maintenance issues add up and make the place feel a bit neglected. The overall impression is that this may have once been a charming 3-star hotel, but its current condition no longer reflects that rating. It feels like it hasn’t been properly updated or maintained in a few years. For the price I paid, I believe you can find better options in Turin with more modern amenities and in better condition. It’s a shame, because with some refurbishment, this place could easily bounce back.
The hotel was very nice. My room was good, and the shower was lovely.
My room faced a very noisy road, opposite a bar, which didn't close til after midnight.
Centrally located and easy walking distance to most locations. Minutes walking distance from station/metro and busse. Extremely helpful staff and comfortable rooms.
Nothing I can think of.
Location is very convenient
Late check-in, not possible to completely turn off the heating device, not enough shower gel provided, furniture including the shower door not in great condition
