Great location! Close to the beach, restaurants, a nice fresh market, and a grocery store. The infinity pool is nice and breakfast is really good.

The water falls out of the shower when showering. It leaks to the room hallway. The walls are humid and starting to grow mold from the water. You can see previous damage on the floors from that same issue, the front desk staff is very picky and stick.

The taxi arranged for me to the airport was a rip off and suggests pay back to the front staff. Left a bad taste after a nice stay. Really something for you to check on.

Breakfast was very good with many options to choose from.

Language barrier

Unfit for human habitation. Disgusting rooms not clean and in serious need of renovation. yellow stained bedding, toilet walls were yellow with wallpaper peeling off, heavy build up of limescale in the showers, light fixings hanging off the wall, toilet seats not fixed on straight, dirty floors they clearly dont mop, mould on the walls and a damp smell. We Were shown 2 alternative rooms both in the same state of dis-repair. 1 of the rooms had red stains on the floor not sure what they were blood or red wine either way they shouldnt be there. After discussion with the duty manager who agreed with all the issues we raised he said we would get a call the next morning to process our refund. we checkout immediately and booked another hotel. And now the hotel is refusing to refund us. Awful experience awful hotel avoid. Not what you need after a 12 hour flight!

Beautiful location giving great access to Rio and Barra beachs. Quality of the staff were great and were able to assist with all couple of problems found on the room

Air conditioners can be noisy and initial sheet and towel quality were worse for wear - but these minor issues were addressed once brought up with staff.
