Large property, with even larger rooms, everyone was very nice and accommodating. the firework show upon arrival was exceptional! The spa and spa services was over the top and the best we have experienced! The pool and cabanas were gorgeous and such a relaxing vibe.
The room service food could have been better.
I loved the beautifully landscaped and private setting of the resort, which because of how the buildings were laid out, never felt crowded. The 3 open-air restaurant venues offered different levels of pricing and food options. There is a Modified American Plan available that you can select any or all days. It's a great value if you want breakfast and dinner at Cocina del Mar. Friendly staff were everywhere, ready to offer immediate assistance to meet your needs. The concept of having a personal concierge is a good one, provided you have a clear idea upfront of how to most effectively take advantage of this service. There are also "bellhops" at the ready to drive you anywhere on the property by golf cart (or to Toro Restaurant, adjacent to the resort) whenever you don't feel like walking the distance. The Spa Casita was absolutely beautiful and tidied up several times during the day.
The ever present problem of inconsiderate people staking their claim on the pool lounges early in the a.m. and then not giving them up, even if they go off to meals, etc. I appreciated that the pool crew managed to offer me alternative solutions (use of the cabanas!). I made the mistake of using a Mexican Telcel sim card, which caused me grief when trying to communicate with my concierge. Make sure you find out the best way of communicating with the staff from the get go. They say there is a text app, although I'm not clear about that.
The staff and personal service was truly exceptional! We expected to explore other areas, but we only left the grounds once during our stay because it was that wonderful.
Everything and everyone
not enough restaurant choices
Absolutely first class service. Beautiful views from everywhere. Great food. We've been all over the world in 5 star accommodations and this is in our top 5. Highly recommend!
Beautiful grounds, great service
Expensive
Gardens, views and rooms are perfect.
It is forbidden to invite people for the day. We came to Cabo to meet our son and family. There are no day passes we had to go elsewhere to spend time with them.
