Friendly and helpful staff

Fantastic breakfast, spacious room, clean.

Booking present it as a 4 stars hotel, its a 3 stars, as also indicated at the hotel. Breakfast is gorgeous but starts at 8 - a bit late. Facilities are a bit dated, would need some renovation.

We had a fantastic week at Hotel Lyshaus. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, our cosy suite and handy fridge (which we kept well stocked!) made it feel like a home away from home during our ski trip. The jacuzzi bath was warmly welcomed after a long day on the slopes, and the shower was equally as nice too! Breakfast had something for everyone, and always included service with a smile. For an additional cost we booked a return transfer with the hotel owners from/to Turin Airport which made arrival and departure smooth and simple! Thank you again for a great week in Gressoney Saint Jean we hope to return one day!

Plenty of good restaurants and a couple of bars close by but if you plan to venture further than Gressoney Saint Jean centre you would be better hiring a car. Ski buses to the slopes were regular enough and bus stop is only 2min walk so a car is not essential to easily access the Monterosa ski areas.
