Walking distance to all in the area, amazing breakfast and such a beautiful property. The room was wonderful and comfortable
We liked everything at the Marquesas from the stylish rooms to its comfortable main room and close proximity to downtown Taos. Everything was just perfect.
It was a lovely old home. Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is apparently attached to a “sister” facility where the pool is located it was a 2 block walk! The room was very small and there was no place to sit other than the very high bed. AC consisted of a portable unit that didn’t cool but was very loud. I have arthritis and booked for the pool which I couldn’t use!
The room we had was off the courtyard which meant we could sit outside reading. The room was well fitted although probably too much furniture for the size of room. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast on the first morning was stunning. The chef explained the quality of the food and engaged with us which made the experience very good.
We had to go to another hotel 5 mins drive away for our breakfast on our second morning - no breakfast at Palacio on Mondays.. Whilst not the end of the world, and the other breakfast was very good, it was rather irritating I have to do this whilst trying to leave.
