Hotel Becher

The perfect hotel in Venice, especially with kids, very nice hotel, friendly staff but especially the location and size of hotel work so well for doing a bit of sightseeing, coming back quickly, dropping off a bag or so, going out again - and so on. We even left the kids or had them find their way back on their own when needed from restaurants or a concert nearby. It is in the middle of things yet it is very quiet and we slept well. Breakfast on the balcony next to the canal is a bonus.

I liked everything and I am an experienced traveller.

I stayed in 3 Italian cities (5* to 3*) and this one was by far my favourite. Right in the middle of the city, everything was easy to get to. Fabulous staff and massive shout out to Elena who really helped me with every question I had and gave recommendations of local must dos . The breakfast was also really good ! Set my alarm to make sure I didnt miss out. The Prosecco welcome was also a treat ! Thank you for everything Team Hotel Becher

Great location. Room was perfect and met expectations. We were right on the canal and it was a good walking distance to everything. Staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The breakfast included was wonderful and kept us going throughout the day . Thank you !

Could be very loud on canal with boats in the early morning as well as public workers making a lot of noise outside the windows.

We had a beautiful room with a small balcony looking over the canal where we could watch and listen to the gondolas travelling up and down

Hotel Becher is an extraordinary and strategic place because it is only a 5 minute walk from the city center to Piazza San Marco. Clean and quiet hotel, quiet and tidy on the upper level, on the ground floor the hotel has an open terrace where you can take aperitifs and in the morning you can have breakfast on the terrace and where the gondolas pass by and it is very romantic and evocative and then with the kindness of Mr Marco he was fantastic and helped me how to get to the islands of Murano and Burano, I recommend this hotel to everyone and all the reception staff are very kind

Your outdoor 'dock' seating was really quaint and fun! Your staff was beyond par - so very helpful and gracious. My daughter and I LOVED our stay with you. Thanks so much!

The property needs some updates in the furniture and overall the property isnt in a good shape anymore. Location was amazing!!
