Best Western Jangwani Sea Breeze Resort

Some family members had already stayed there, so for my last night in Dar es Salaam, I stayed there too. It is a nice, clean hotel. I was impressed by the fact that everything was provided including a hairdryer and toiletries.

It is an older colonial-style hotel and therefore had no lift; though I was accommodated upstairs because my family had two rooms next to mine. I recently had a hip replacement, so to climb the stairs was an effort. I believe there are ground floor rooms for the elderly or infirm. As I didn't book the accommodation, I didn't realise the lack of lift.

The resident area is really nice and quiet. If you wanna have a little more party you can go to the beach bar opposite the road. They have a clean swimming pool and staff is really helpful and friendly. My room was great as well

Only one machine worked in the very small gym and there was nothing else apart from a few mismatched weights. The pool near the beach was dirty. The wine wasn't very good. The beach had not been cleaned directly in front of the hotel

This review is being submitted on behalf of my wife Angel and her sister Have stayed in this hotel many times and wouldnt stay any where else. Love the location, the beach, pool and great value for money.

There was an issue with the first room she was given , but after contacting the hotel this was sorted out the very next day. Excellent service as allways
