Hotel RH Principal

Overall the hotel, location, food and service are good. The price was good in comparison with hotels around.

My room had a very small terrace. The restaurant definitely needs improvement in ventilation system as after each meal I was smelling of food for hours. Overall I think the hotel is a very good 3+ stars but not 4 in my opinion.

Overall it's a nice hotel. Close to the beach (about 5-6 min to walk). Bus stop (to go to the center of Gandia and to/from railway station) just near the hotel. It's convenient to visit Valencia (local bus #2+ railway) or Denia (local bus #2 and intercity bus Alsa) - both are about 2 hrs to go. Room was spacious. The view (6th floor) was quite nice (though, not at the sea). The room was cleaned everyday. Wifi was good. Breakfast was ok - especially, omlettes, made by personnel - were delicious. Nice personnel - provided the bottle of water during check-out. Overall, quality/price ratio was good.

The hotel needs definitely more elevators - the queues, especially, after breakfast near the 2 elevators were quite long. Breakfast itself needs a bit more of variety - particularly, please, could you add some vegetables - it's not so expensive but probably would be appreciated. Some minor repairments for rooms are needed. For example, shower hanger in the bathroom at my room was a bit broken.

Every day, fight for the elevator. Breakfast - every day the same, no vegetables :-(

The hotel is in a great location near the beach and plenty of restaurants, cafe,bars and supermarket near by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and have a nice balcony/terrace to enjoy a nice view of the beach or mountains. Music and Bingo for entertainment down stairs was a funny experience but I am from Australia so language is a barrier as this is very much a local Spanish holiday destination.but everyone was friendly.

The air-conditioning system is weak and in summer it is hot. It struggles to keep the room cool. The small fridge is old and also struggles to keep things cold. There is no tea / coffee/ kettle supplied in the rooms. There are no plates/bowls/knives/forks supplied in the room if you wish to self cater for a snack. But they did give me some from the cafeteria so that was good.

Staff polite in general. Room and bathroom with balcony on 9th floor, view of sea excellent. The breakfast was great, many options and they change to something new every other day. Pool is a bonus after day trips and visiting the nearby beach in short walking distance.

Adding in more green vegetables for breakfast would be great, like peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber.
