Hotel Wing International Kyoto - Shijo Karasuma

Clean, quiet and on a great spot in Kyoto. Near a metro station and Kyoto station.

It was a really nice and comfortable room and I loved the room fit out. The hotel was also very inviting and provided us with the ammenities we needed. Nothing to fault about the hotel/ facilities.

It was approximately a 15 min walk to the main area in kyoto. The walk into town was nice however I think for a short stay it would have been nicer to stay a bit closer to town. This was the only (albeit minor) downside to this property.

The location of the hotel was close to metro station and was only a few stops from many of the main sightseeing areas. Staff were friendly and helpful and the free japanese and western breakfast buffet had a good selection to choose from.

The hotel room could have been cleaned better as I could see dust between the walls and floor and behind the tv. Walls of the room had quite a few scratches and marks from previous guests and there was no view from my room (corner room on 4th floor) as the windows only let in light and I couldnt see outside.

The room and hotel was beautiful. The staff were friendly and the location was easy to access the subway and other attractions. The amenities were top notch! Buffet breakfast had great variety

The bathroom had a weird smell but it went away after your turn on the taps and run the water.
