The New Pioneer

The check in was amazing as they switched our room to a disabled room for my husband.

We stay at the Pioneer because we have a private beach. They last year stopped pop up canopy's, coolers, and tables and checked wrist bands. This year we had everyone regardless if they stayed there and they were starting their Sea-Doos in front of the kids and my disabled husband. Security did nothing. There was no space to set up due to big families and their friends and it was unsafe with the in jet skis.

Love the New Pioneer it's a great place to stay. Staff is so great they help with accommodations for the handicapped room floor. It has an ice machine that works great the air conditioning was freaking excellent

Well, the buffet was ok not enough room to use my handicap wheels so I had to walk and that was not a good thing. The food was I guess ok on some things but kind of dry. Maybe add more variety of food for that price of $29 a plate.

Great price and the stay was very comfortable.

No complaints.

only that it has a view of the river.

Everything about the hotel is terrible. The receptionist who was there greeted us angrily, and in that way, and the cleanliness of the hotel is terrible. The entire room was dirty and the mattresses are in very poor condition. The bathroom towels are all torn and old.
