The staff were excellent and Nozawa Onsen is such a great town to visit. Very accomodating, friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of information about town and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend a stay here!

I loved my stay here, The staff were really nice and helpful, the Beds And pillows were comfortable, the whole place was well-maintained and functional. The kitchen was a great way to socialise and was huge with loads of space. The host Kain and his gorgeous family were so accommodating and lovely. Never a problem and was so obliging to be around. And it's comforting to be able to speak directly to an English speaker at the end of a big day. His knowledge of the area was superb and the facilities were great. I had such a great time here and when we go back I will certainly stay again.

Nothing relating to the accommodation A tip for eating. Pre-plan your evening dining and book ahead. (other than the ski slopes) Not much is open before 7-8 pm and walk-ins are often out of luck as they have limited seating in their little restaurants. If you can cook, this is the best option for dinner and the food from the local butcher and supermarket is great. Kains (Nozawa Peaks) kitchen has literally everything. Breakfast is fine nearby is a great bakery and the coffee is abundant.

This a really comfortable lodge to stay in - very clean and quiet Japanese style place. The owners are wonderful and friendly, and the location is great - a short walk to the nearest ski lift.

Had an exceptional experience at Nozawa Onsen, the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us while we were there. They helped us with gear hire, lift passes and restaurant recommendations. With the pictures of the beds being on the floor, I thought they would be quiet hard but they were extremely confortable - i had the best nights sleep! The location was right off one of the runs, making it an easy downhill walk home after a long day on the slopes. Honestly couldn't recommend Nozawa Peaks enough.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
