Location is good
Breakfast is very bad
Great location convenient to the beach and town, nice to have a full-sized fridge, large rooms, spotlessly clean (though visibly worn).
Old, outdated rooms, no bathroom at the pool / beach area so you would have to go all the way back to your room which can be annoying if they put you in the secondary property across the street or on an upstairs floor around back etc. Expensive for something that has absolutely no amenities besides its location (no pool/beach towels?!). The deadbolt on my room did not work from the outside so I could only lock the really flimsy door handle lock.
I would strongly advise anyone who values their personal information or security, avoid this property. As someone who works in hotels, keeping the private information of guests secure is the upmost important duty. This property fails in such an egregious way, I feel guilty for not causing a bigger storm over this. Besides the very bizarre practice of bag storage (guests must go behind the desk themselves to place and collect the bags with no luggage tag etc.) this, if not already obvious, leads to a multitude of security issues. When collecting my luggage, an employee was at her computer, upon entering her office to collect my bags that were underneath her private desk, she got up and went to the other room that connects to the front desk. She left her screen open, unlocked. I was able to see all allocations, guest names, etc. If I was nefarious or planned to be, I could easily get hundreds of guest details by taking photos on my phone. This is taught in BASIC info security. Combined with the act that upon check in no one asked for my ID or cared for me to show it, It would be beyond easy for me to get a guests name, claim I am them, obtain a key, and who knows what. Anyone who is reading this, it is horrifying it is that simple. This property needs to take themselves seriously. They need to care a miniscule amount about their guests. This is a very serious oversight. Do not let guests behind the front desk ever, especially not to store luggage, lock your screens, ask for ID upon check in. Even the most basic hotels do this. I am not asking for Forbes 5 Star service here, I am just alerting that even the most BASIC practices here do not exist. Would love to talk to anyone in management who happens to come across this, should they care to discuss further.
Location. Clean rooms.
Needs updates. Structure is old. Still use keys for the rooms. Difficult to park.
Staff was very accommodating, view and location was incredible, breakfast was great
