Location and staff.

It felt like a nice little home rather than a hotel. It felt very authentic to the area. It was close to many things in Kyoto.

Possibly the best hotel experience we have ever had. The Ace Hotel Kyoto is exceptional in all areas. I cannot wait to return one day.

This hotel is perfect.

the building is so beautiful, spacious and luxurious, but not in a stuffy way. the rooms were very quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious. the staff were also very friendly, professional & welcoming. was a great place to celebrate my boyfriends birthday whilst we were in Kyoto.

the breakfast options were a bit limited, with additional (and expensive!) charges if you wanted something different to eat/drink. that was the only downside, as otherwise the food in the set options was lovely and the breakfast restaurant a beautiful space. also was a bit disappointed with the lack of space and limited food options at stumptown coffee. in the afternoons it was difficult to find space to sit comfortably with a coffee and relax, almost all the seats & sofas were taken up by people working on laptops, and possibly not hotel guests?

The fit out was really cool and hip. The room had a nice outlook and was really comfortable.

This hotel was so stunning. Beautifully appointed, sleek stylish interiors, beautifully crafted breakfast menu. Every little detail was so thought out. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke wonderful English. The coffee at the coffee shop was some of the best we had in the country The location and facilities around the hotel were amazing, from the tranquil gardens, to the craft beer spot and designer boutiques. We can't wait to come stay again!

The Ace is the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. With Uber-cool design and a music theme throughout, it has a fun and festive vibe. Sumptown coffee shop is a wonderful perk, with trained baristas making perfect espressos. The location cant be beat.
