The location is great. You will see monkeys and the views are specatacular.

The food is okay. That was to be expected for what we paid.

I wasn't too please with the nightlife they offer. They could have more activities for grown adults instead of karaoke

The pool and beach are beautiful, the restaurants (Italian and Japanese) are good.

The buffet they had wasnt all that good. Also, I experienced my birthday there, they dont do anything special. They dont have candles. They have ONE bad server, he is the heavier set man, & he serves the special restaurants. He is super rude & mean.

Things we loved: The ocean view room The tour booking service staff ( JJ and LARRY-the best!) car rental in the hotel security at the gate friendly restaurant staff at the snack bar and buffet pools and amenities (coffee and drinks)

Things we didnt love that much: check in staff upon arrival plugged shower the food at the Italian (inedible and cold-we walked out and didnt eat) Buffet was hit and miss one towel for pool

The setting of the hotel is beautiful. We had an unobstructed view of the gulf. The layout of the various rooms across the acres of property is well-thought out and attractive. The pools were large.

There was a mistake in our booking which the hotel refused to help us with. Additionally, once in our room, there were two small beds instead of one large bed as requested and advertised. The room itself was dirty, the toilet was broken, and the hallway was unlit and dangerously wet and slick. Even after requesting that the room be cleaned, the second day we were there, we went nearly a full day before the room was properly cleaned again. The furniture was tired and stained and lamp fixtures either unplugged or loose. The fridge was turned off (unplugged) and unstocked. The food and drink at the restaurants, while plentiful, was mediocre at best. Additionally, there was incessant music at both pools, the lounge area, and the dining rooms, often in competition with each other. Adding to the tired feeling of the facility, tiles from the pool wall had fallen off and not been replaced. The transport vans, while prompt and courteous, were ragged and dirty. The staff was largely courteous but those at the reception were indifferent and a server at the restaurant by the pool was rude and unhelpful.

Paradise resort with great pools and remarkable service. I'd like to address some of the occasional negative reviews regarding the dining experience at this resort: This is a moderate priced resort in a high price country. The food is excellent and we loved it, but it is not the 5-Star gourmet dining you get in a 5-times-more-expensive french ski resort.

Good service all around. The beach access was great.

Pools were not open during night hours. Had to call several times to get a shuttle during checkout time.
