Mitsis Faliraki Beach Hotel & Spa

A little bit noisy during the nights. Guests coming and leaving in the room above and people talking in the hall could be very well heard. We had ear plugs so we were not very bothered, but without them we could not have rested well.

This is a first impressions review as on arrival we were offered an upgrade to the Mitsis Lindos Memories but the welcome at Faliraki Beach was just amazing. Incredible staff, fantastic service in the main restaurant for lunch, everyone was just so welcoming. Would happily make a return visit based on this fantastic first impression.

The stuff tried to help us but with no success. The stuff are usually nice and welcoming. The food in the a la carte restaurant was tasty. The breakfast at the main restaurant was nice.

This stay has been a the biggest disappointment since the moment we got here. This is not at all what we expected from a five star Mitsis hotel. First, we took a Family room that are significantly more expensive than the regular room, those kinds of rooms are located far from the center of the hotel and we had to go with a big twins stroller on a old bumpy road through the back way of the hotel to get there, several times a day. We got room with tiny little old showers, with no water pressure and water temperature that switches from freezing to hot unexpectedly (!!!), The toilet wouldnt flash the toilet paper. When we told to the reception about the temperature of the water that changed every 5 seconds from hot to freeze - they told they will send someone to check, we complained 3 times. The problem never solved. I'm with 2 babies why do we have to suffer like this?!? My babies cried every night in the shower! We took a 3 minutes shower of hell Every night! The TV was smaller then my computer screen at home, and it all felt so old. When we asked to swich room they offered us just small room that didn't fit us. additionally, they told us they can't refund us with the big deffrent of cost between the two kinds of rooms. Lunch and dinner at the main restaurant is unbeatable and so if we can't always get a reservation to the restaurants (which is a common case) we are forced to eat outside the hotel. Tea time sandwiches are completely dry. common areas has no air conditioning! It's August and it's so hot outside!! In the lobby there is no air condition at all, all the stuff are sweating, they told us then is because the doors are open but I think that it didn't worked. All week. If this is a five star hotel representation of the Mitsis hotels this is a very disappointing first experience at this network and most certainly our last.

The pools, the slides, the food at the restaurants, the evening performances

The standard room is quite small for 3 people. There is no snack food in the pool area, just fruits and sweets. The toddler pool has no shade. The food in the buffet is not so good.

We had a great holiday, the communication from the hotel prior to arriving was fantastic, helping with transport from the airport and booking restaurants for lunch and dinner (which we would recommend to do in advance). The staff are exceptional, all very helpful and friendly and work very hard. There are multiple restaurants, the main restaurant does not require booking, the food is variable and themed per night, the desserts are wow! There are 5 restaurants ( greek, Italian, mexican, Asian and burgers/pitas) which need booking in advance and the food here is gourmet and fantastic. The beach and the pools are great, plenty of sunbeds, even with people blocking sunbeds early mornings there is still plenty of space around the pool and the beach. There are a couple of slides for kids in the kids pool area. Facilities around the pool including bar, creperie, fruit salad and ice cream are lovely. No waiting for drinks at the bar :) the cocktails were amazing!! There is an open gym with daily programs for fitness guided by trainers..from yoga, to HIIT to CrossFit or just do your own exercise...fantastic team!!! The rooms are very good, well equipped with a full fridge, coffee machine etc. The rooms are slightly outdated but did not impact us as we mostly spent time using facilities.

Having to leave !! The rooms are slightly outdated and need some refurbishing, but as we spent little time in the rooms, it didn't really impact us at all. The food in the main restaurant can be bland but that is to be expected in a buffet, still plenty of food with good quality.
