Staff is really nice, all shared spaces (restaurants, lobby, pool) are stunning and beautiful. I just wish they put that effort into the rooms.
The room we stayed in was laid out very poorly. You walk right into a giant wardrobe and there is barely any light to see what is in it. On the other side of the very tight entryway is a mirror, that you can't even use to see yourself. Instead, there is a very loud refrigerator right next to the bed - it just makes no sense. In terms of comfort, the linens feel cheap and overused - towels were threadbare and there were two sheets covering the duvet (as opposed to a duvet cover). No luggage rack and a lot of empty space. The floors were bare, which made the space cold, dark, and unwelcoming. Luckily NOLA is interesting enough that we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. I noticed that one of the lightbulbs was out and called the desk to replace it, but no one came.
Slick and cool. Huge bedroom with a huge bed, full sized fridge and large walk in shower. Great location, its not in the hustle and bustle of the main streets, but easy to walk or Uber and there some amazing food options near this location eg Willa Jean for brunch
The things we didnt like were minimal. I feel like its a bit overpriced, the room was incredibly dark and because it was so big, it felt quite empty and not very welcoming. Like I said, mostly minor things!
Amazing bar and rooftop . Cool rooms, nice fridge, good AC, Comfortable bed
Elevators were malfunctioning
Unbelievably noisy at night. Like a full blown club and the staff did not care. Barely slept at all during the stay. They also closed the pool multiple times during a gorgeous weekend and made up excuses why it was closed and offered no type of room discount or amenity in it's place.
