The hotel is done up with characters from Wilhelm Busch which I found cool! The staff was very friendly and super helpful!
It is what it is. You can't expect 4Seasons. For its use and location, current conditions - good enough. There were some catches - e.g. smelly corridor, room door which couldn't be closed without being locked - but bed was great, water running, room warm enough, one is just steps away from nature and restaurant, quite quiet village, owner welcoming you in a great style...if you need everything flawless, go to Goettingen or Einbeck ;-)

I paid 50 but I got no receipt with explanation that a person in charge has vacation. Getting of the receipt promised in two weeks (should be sent by email), pretty weird, the quite big hotel has the only one person who is able to issue a receipt? I also wrote in advance that I need to get the receipt incl information what should be referred on it.
