Bastion Hotel Eindhoven Waalre

We stayed at Bastion Hotel Waalre for the first time for attending the festival nearby over the weekend, and our stay was nothing, but pleasant and satisfying. From our hotel, it was only short walk to the festival, town center and I particularly liked the location of the hotel as it was in quiet location also. The hotel was nice, clean, and we enjoyed staying our room 425 with comfy beds, spacious bathroom, flat screen tv, AC which we had no issues during our stay at all. We also enjoyed having continental breakfast and dinner few times of our stay as it was good value for money in my humble opinion. I also would like to mention one of the staff members, Khaled, who was very helpful, kind, professional from the day we arrived and it's always bonus meeting someone like himself who takes good care of the guest during the stay,and my sincere thanks goes out to him. Thank you Khaled, once again. If we ever have an opportunity to go to the festival in the future, I would definitely stay at the hotel again and I recommend this hotel too. Typical commercial/liesure hotel, clean, efficient and friendly

We knew what we were getting so there was nothing to dislike.

That you can open windows to let some fresh air.

No glass in bathroom for toothbrushes. Cups for cofee weren’t cleaned. Nozzle broke from shower head, after replacement it wasn’t tied up. so had to tie with bare hands. Breakfast scrambled eggs were awfully hard. Situation was saved by staff preparing ommlette.

Be careful prior to make a booking with free cancellation. I have made a booking free cancellation of 4 nights but as soon as done the full amount was deducted from my card. I have asked several time by messages and emails to shift of one days the checki in/ check out and I never got any response from the structure. I thought than to cancel the the booking and make a new one with the correct check in/ Check out dates and again immediately the amount was immediately charged to my card. At the end of the story the first payment has never been returned, lost more than 800€ and till now no response from them or Booking.com
