This charming, red-brick building is set on the banks of the River Ebro, surrounded by a lush garden full of colorful flowers and palm trees. The local city of Calahorra is famous for its Roman background, and is built around a cathedral dating from Roman times. Stroll through the Parador and admire the large doorways, Christian artwork and other Medieval-style decor. Here you can relax by the fireplace with friends or family or head to the hotel’s restaurant. This charming venue serves characteristic Riojan dishes accompanied by the region’s world-famous wine.

Its was clean and nice
Forgot our hot food order not impressed.
Having ordered hot food fir breakfast (waitress didn't mention it when we arrived), once ordered after 20 minutes reminded waitress a further 10 minutes still d8dnt arrive, so left hungry. Plus floor boards above noisy people were walking from 6am til 7.30am kept us awake.
All the comfort and standards you'd expect in a Parador.
The building is a modern red brick building. It has none of the facilities or style deserving of its high price. Smelt cigarette smoke when I entered the room and discovered that a previous guest had put a shower cap over the smoke alarm. Told reception, but they didn't seem too bothered.
Great location, large room, excellent breakfast
Very noisy, no carpet, thin walls
Location Excellent breakfast Staff very pleasant
Disappointing dinner. Expected a higher quality of food for the price. The meal on the ferry the previous evening was of a far higher standard for a similar cost.
