Location was convenient for town centre.

Staff were fine, but didnt appear to be engaged with their role. No assistance as to how to locate our room, no indication as to where breakfast would be. Also seemed strange that there did not seem to be corporate wear to identify who were guests and who were staff. Decor was generally tired and in need of attention. Location of sockets were not ideal i.e. not near bedside tables. On one side of the bed it was not possible to plug the lamp. However, mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was a huge let down and can only be described as dirty. Nowhere to put own toiletries either. Didnt mention the bathroom on check out as we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay or if everything was ok so it seemed rather pointless. Having stayed the previous night at a sister hotel which was excellent, its hard to see how this one could have been so different.

Very old fashioned. Seems like the spa facility changing rooms needs updating. Very expensive for what you get when we came.

Staff were so friendly and helpful,Place was immaculate and was super comfy and relaxing .Will definitely be back next year as we have been coming to hotel for 4 years now.Highly recommend it.

Great location. Pool was good but the experience was spoiled by badly behaved children, 4 children under 12 with one adult which was not hotel policy ! Really good shower.

Very noisy doors. Heated towel rail did not work. Window sills were dusty. A spa hotel should be relaxing and could have stricter rules in leisure facilities e.g children were climbing in & out of jacuzzi which was supposed to be for over 16s. They were also throwing cold water from drinking fountain over each other. There were 4 children with 1 elderly adult who made no effort to control them and it spoiled what was supposed to be a relaxing experience.There should be a member of staff on duty to supervise the pool. The changing rooms for spa were poor- one of the 2 toilets did not flush, only 1 changing cubicle which locked from outside and would not open. The buffet at breakfast had tinned fruit not fresh. Cooked breakfast was warm not hot. Breakfast staff could be smarter.
