If you are looking for relaxations and to truly unwind when on vacation then the Riu Palace is for you. The resort is so well put together and I loved the layout of the resort. The beach is a nice distance from the pool so even if you are a pool person like myself it is a quick walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean waves. The resort itself is beautiful and luxurious and caters to adults rather than families. I recommend the Riu Palace if you are travelling without children.

The Goldilocks of adults-only all-inclusive resorts! This resort offers the perfect mix for everyone: it's not a sleepy resort, nor a spring break party palace - it's perfectly in between. The RIU Palace Pacifico recently had an entire top-to-bottom renovation and everything is now fresh, modern and ultra-luxe. There are 3 pools (a quiet & relaxing pool, a swim-up party pool and an activities pool - think foam parties, water aerobics and games). The beach is massive with soft, white sand and there we no issues getting a lounger on the beach at any time of day (same with by the pool). The food was top-tier: flavorful and portion sizes were massive (something you don't usually find at AIs). I also loved that you never needed to make a dinner reservation at any of the 5 a-la-carte restaurants - you just show up and if there's a wait, they give you a buzzer and you can go enjoy a drink in the lobby or at the beach while you wait! I can't wait to stay here again!
