Hotel Scala

The location was especially convenient for people like us hiking the camino. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The set meal for dinner was also delicious and filling.

Getting dinner was a little challenging; seemed understaffed as some of the same people were working upstairs and the lower level dining area. Things were quick and easy (great food) if you went to the restaurant at dinner time instead of trying to stay on the main level and get food from the bar, as others in our group did.

Loved the pool because the afternoon was unseasonably hot. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast. I was also able to get a good salad for dinner.

It was so far away from the old town section of Padron, we did not get to see much.

Great location on the Camino

Abit noisy between rooms. Had dinner and wasnt aware of Pilgrims menu until after I ordered.

Its in the north end of Padron. Gives a headstart for the walk to Santiago de Compostela. Quiet rooms, comfortable bed. Has a restaurant. Helpful cleaning staff.

Very large operation, very busy, a popular place for locals & tourists - so front desk ambiance is businesslike. I endured bed bug bites overnight.
