Very good conditions for the price paid. Also really friendly and open to discussion staff
breakfast was continental in style but cheap
Good service and taxi from the airport
We were warned in advance that there might be some noise as the roof was being renewed, but this didn't bother us. Nor did the main road next to the hotel, which was inaudible during our stay. A benefit was that a tram stop was very close. Most of the main sights of this exceptional city were within very easy walking distance. Room was comfy, shower good. Staff were very helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was very good. It was nice to be in a building occupied in another wing by the Academy of Music. Extremely good value and strongly recommended.
Nothing at this price.
Convenient location (the station and attractions can be reached on foot) with ample parking. This is where the positive impressions end.
After checking in, we immediately went for a walk around the city and returned late in the evening. With every minute it became clear that it was impossible to stay in the room due to the disgusting smell. In an attempt to find its source, they opened all the cabinets. We discovered that the refrigerator was still not working. When we contacted the reception with a request to change the room, we were told that the hotel was fully occupied. After more persistent attempts, they were offered an attic room under a roof without windows, in which there was nothing to breathe. We had already decided to change the hotel when we found another free room. The windows opened there, there was no smell and the refrigerator worked. The hotel has a drainage problem in the sink. Despite 3 requests to clean the sink, nothing has changed. Meanwhile, it turned out that the source of the smell in the first room was new carpeting, which had recently been installed. The refrigerator was simply unplugged. which was somewhere inside the cabinet. The attitude of the staff at breakfast is also interesting. There was a feeling that the hotel guests were preventing them from going about their business. I got hit in the legs with a table drawer while I was making myself tea, because one of the workers urgently needed it for something. And half an hour before the end of breakfast they suddenly began to clean everything up and prepare the restaurant for dinner, demonstrating in every way that it was time to leave there. The breakfast food looked like it had been left uneaten at the restaurant for dinner. It wasn't covered by anything; flies were crawling on it. I don't know how the hotel got such a high rating and how do they prepare the room if there are so many obvious problems in it.
superb breakfast, great variety
evening dinner service was very slow
+ Great location, close to center yet easy to reach by car. + free parking, + room was big and all the necessities were there + staff were friendly and professional
Breakfast was a bit hit or miss. Lots to choose from and seemed like different foods every day. Second day was better! But there are no signs in front of the foods so you would actually know whats available (not your usual hotel breakfast) Worst of all first day there was for some reason kiwi fruit all over the cheeses and hams so for someone who is allergic to kiwi it made me very wary of what to take. Tv had only one channel without polish dubbing
