Lovely hotel, super comfortable room and bed, nice sauna area. Excellent location, steps from Versailles.

The only issue we had was on departure. We called down in the morning to arrange a taxi to the train station. We were told they were plentiful, and we could easily get one when we came down. When we checked out, there were no taxis, and there were delays in getting one or even getting to the station by car due to a planned Paris to Versailles run. So, we had to walk quickly to get to our train. Yes, it's not that far (which the 23 year old reception person kept telling us). But for two older people with osteoarthritis and luggage, it really was a problem. Given that this is a big race, staff should have known and advised us to leave more time or depart before the roads were blocked off. Despite this issue, I would stay at the property again. It was lovely.

Wow, this hotel is really something special just along the Avenue de Paris from the Palace. We arrived early from Paris and our welcome was fabulous and so lovely with lots of information and a map for our stay. We dined in the restaurant and it was superb. The cuisine was delicious, inventive and very well presented by lovely waiting staff. The wine was also fabulous. We will return to Versailles as we have more exploring to do and we will absolutely book again.

Location - the hotel was next to the palace. Near to the train station and within walking distance to shops, the market and other stations.
