DenverAmazing hotel - love the design of the lobbies. Room was very functional. Great bathrooms. The rooftop bar/ hangout zone with kiddie pools and games was so fun! Inviting, friendly vibe- we will definitely be back to enjoy that rooftop deck.
Overhead lighting in hallways to room was too bright- I would dim or eliminate those and just have the wall lights for more ambient lighting.
Well thought out layout and had everything I needed. The clothes steamer was a nice touch, way easier than an iron! The staff were consistently friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.
I stayed for 4 nights but didn’t get a visit from housekeeping which was a bit odd. The AC was irritating at first on the auto setting, coming on and off all night and was quite loud when it was on. Once I figured out I could put it on constant fan, it was much better.
The bed pillows were so soft! The shower was large. There were a couple of good options for grab and go breakfast in the cooler, such as fruit.
I'm pretty sure I was given the wrong type of room at check-in, but since I didn't book direct, it was difficult to determine myself, and I was not going to argue. The ice machine on my floor was broken the entire trip. The couch was horribly uncomfortable and had a rather ugly pillow. The table only had enough room for one person to eat. The sliding door for the bathroom constantly tried to come off track when I closed it. There was no coffee in the room, though instructions were provided for brewing it. I was not made aware of a closer elevator to my room. We discovered it on our own. The valet on duty at arrival was nearly rude when I was trying to get directions for where we could park. I gave up because he wasn't listening to me after I said I did not want valet parking so we went with valet parking for the first night just so we could get to our room after traveling so far. By the way, valet parking is in a small gravel lot behind the hotel. The next day, we moved to paid parking by the Chase bank. If you use their parking over the weekend, you can scan your parking ticket at the pedestrian door next to the bank to get to the parking garage by stairs only. The hub lobby is locked on weekends. One of the lights often pulsated when we returned to the room. The grab and go breakfast was often incorrectly labeled. For instance, there is no chorizo in the burrito one day or no cheese another day. You had to use your key card to get the elevator to go up, which seemed excessive and odd. At check-in, we again asked about parking and were told to ask the valet. The handy cap buttons to open the lobby doors were horribly placed. The outside one was behind the valet stand. The one between doors was okay, but the one from the inside was significantly out of the way off to the far left of the doors.
Location! In the heart of the Rino (River North) Art District, staff was wonderful, immaculate room, lobby, grounds, easy access to light rail (airport, downtown), plenty of cool food/beverage choices in easy walking distance!
Nada!
