The restaurant was excellent! The best meal we had in the 3 weeks we were in Egypt. The staff was incredibly nice and very accommodating. They upgraded us to a room with a full view of the Nile. The gym, pool, and spa were wonderful. 5*!

Hotel has the best view of the Nile River in Cairo. Staff extremely professional and tended to all our needs. Loved the time we spent at the VIP-Lounge and Spa. Fantastic breakfast buffet, loved eating it by outside by the river.

Location and view

There is no better location in Cairo! Promenade with its cafes and restaurants, always full of life and exceptional views

It is an old property after all, and some common areas as well as rooms awaiting renovation

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was good. The gym, pool and spa were very good and the spa treatment I had was excellent. The variety of hotel restaurant and bars was also good.

The rooms were extremely dated and in need of an upgrade. The carpets in the room looked dirty and our curtains had stains over them. The worst thing however was the noise - there is a bar and function room in the hotel that has things going on to 2-3am, meaning we got no sleep at all. We did complain, and the hotel staff were very apologetic, however there was no room to move us. We did get some complimentary cakes etc for the inconvenience, however, this did not make up for the noise and lack of sleep.
