Best Western Hotel Bad Rappenau

Extaordinery clean room and very nice design

The room was clean, but the whole hotel is confusing… there are 2 hotels in the same building with same reception, which is moved to the neighboring gas station from 10p.m. To 6 a.m.

I travelled with 2 teenage kids and we were too tired so booked nearest hotel on the way, in booking confirmation it said twin room with 3 single beds, we found only 2 beds, but were too tired to go back to reception across the street and change anything, so just pushed 2 beds together into 1 and slept all, not the most comfortable sleep, but room was clean. Check in was confusing and whole hotel is confusing. There were 2 hotels in same building, so first we went to Best Western, then went to reception to Bikini hotel, and it was 22:00, reception was closed, so we went to gas station. There employee explained he doesn’t work for hotel and tried to send us back to reception which was already closed. I was really frustrated trying to tell him over and over that we were there already and door is locked and no one is there. Then he said “ someone should come, they normally come around 23”… luckily the hotel employee was coming our way and she was kind and empathetic.

It was clean as described.

Poor breakfast. Receptionist did’t speak english, only german.
