Stained and dirty counters and tub
It was close to where we wanted to tour.
Badly in need of updates. Wood door to bathroom was rotton on the bottom. The popcorn ceiling in bathroom was falling off with black mold in spots. There were 3 holes drilled above the sink that had busted out. Laminate floor was so dirty my socks turned black. Black mold on bottom of entrance door. Things just seemed dirty and gritty. I haven't stayed in a room this bad in 40 years.
The location
I reserved a nonsmoking room due to allergies and I was put in a smoking room that smelled like cigarettes and my allergies flared up and I cough the entire time I was in that awful room. I called front desk and he did nothing. I had to go to hospital to get a steroid shot for my allergies so now I’m suing this hotel for pain and suffering due to their recklessness.
Too many folks were standing outside the facility. I didn't feel safe parking my truck in the back side of the parking lot.
The bed was comfortable and I liked that there was a choice of pillow firmness. It was decently soundproof.
I was disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room and the freezer in the refrigerator did not have a door so I assumed that it wasn't working. I put something in there anyway and found out that it did work and froze something accidentally :-) It was OK though. The other thing is the desk lamp switch stopped working and when I looked at the bottom the wires were all exposed with nothing covering them. I didn't realize there would be military helicopters flying over regularly for part of the evening but I realize that's a tough one as far as advertising that fact.
