Lazy J Ranch Americas Best Value Inn

The location is excellent. The property backs on the river and has easy access. It is close to the recreation areas and a good jumping off point to the Sequoia NP. The room was clean and had all the essentials. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room heating was an in wall gas fireplace that made the room warm but a little stuffy. Easily solved by cracking a window open.

Ice machine broken. Very small bathroom area with limited counter space.

The motel is just outside Sequoia NP so very convenient at the end of a day in the park. The property is lovely, I watched hummingbirds at the bird feeders for ages! I bet at other times of the year a stroll down to the river would be lovely, we didn't do this sure to time but also the river was pretty much dried up. The room could do with some modernisation, but it was clean and functional. The pool area looked lovely, it was a shame we weren't there long enough to take advantage of it
