A private oasis with our own playground! We travel Europe by Playground and were a month into our travels and Sopron was a rest/reset stop for us. It was perfect for me that I had a terrace and my daughter had a playground and we could just chill. There was another family staying with a similar-aged child, so it was a slice of heaven for me! The proprietor went out of their way to help with my daughter's bike, to provide recommendations for food, wine, and things to do. They were very friendly. Room has a fridge/small freezer, Nespresso machine with pods, microwave, sheets and towels, and was beautifully decorated. We biked to the city center, but it is also easily walkable. Free (limited) secure parking available about 50m away. Definitely recommend a meal at Bruckner Boraszat and try all their locally grown wines!

Only the weather, but that cannot be helped! It rained alot (major floods in Hungary and Slovenia) so always be prepared. We loved everything about Sopron and am so glad we made this beautiful city a stop on our travels. The property entrance is in the middle of the block on a busy road with no real parking...look for the double blue door that says "Home" in the window at the top. You can briefly park your car there to unload. As this is a more remotely located city, many shops and grocery stores close early and are closed on weekends/Sunday especially. Just be prepared.

Excellent host. Beautiful new and clean accommodation. Scented towels and bed linen. Attention in the fridge on arrival. I can only recommend.
