A very pleasant hotel. Large but personal and very friendly staff. Location OK. Walkable, but you can use transport.
The reception staff was pleasant and friendly. The decoration is really beautiful, with a lot of green and vibrant colors, and the photo booth in the entry area was a great idea. Tip: Reserve a table in advance to enjoy the experience at the hotel restaurant. The food and the staff were fantastic!
At the same time, one of the receptionists was a little bit invasive because they knew how to speak our mother language while we were trying to check in. The supposed coolness of an analog phone in the room didn't allow us to call the reception when we needed to.
The room was as it appeared in the photos. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The size of the room and toilet were good.
At check-in, it was stated that cleaning was done every 2 days. We checked in on Monday and when we returned to the room on Wednesday evening, we saw that it was not cleaned. However, they immediately changed the towels, and cleaning was done on Thursday upon our reminder. But cleaning was not enough and good as I expected. There was no drinking water in the room. There was no minibar or slippers. I would prefer to have useful items such as a minibar and slippers rather than having useless items as decoration in the room. And also check-in time, they took a deposit of 25 euros per night, and it was stated that the deposit would be refunded after check-out. I'm waiting for it to be returned.
The room The location The garden Free umbrellas
We arrived at 3pm and the room still wasn't ready and we had our bags with us so had to leave them. We wanted to shower before we went out. The person that checked us in gave us no explanation why it wasn't ready, told us nothing about the hotel facilities and where things were. Just overall not a great first impression or customer experience.
The restaurant downstairs is really nice both for wine selection and the food. Location is decent with only 30 minutes walk to the museum quarter, and it is rather quiet around there. Staff is welcoming and helpful! Hotel gives off Tel-Aviv vibes (which makes sense given chain origin) and not the Vienna atmosphere.
The room had a noisy AC, that couldn't be fixed, hotel doesn't have any alternative pillows or slippers and surprisingly the room cleaning comes only once every two days. I know it's Vienna, but at this price point those things should really be different. And you also have to sign up for the umbrellas!
Great location. Easy to access very good breakfast places in 5-10 minute distance. Perfect dinner place in the evening
