Mani, Wieden, Vienna

Mani is a reasonably priced, relaxed dining experience. If you’re dining solo, the relaxed ambiance here definitely takes some pressure off, so you won’t feel out of place! With a selection of small dishes, it’s a great spot for sharing a meal with new friends, or grabbing dinner when out and about in the city alone!

They serve up a delicious assortment of dishes, but the homemade Baba Ghanoush is certainly one to sample! 

Pizza Mari, Leopoldstadt, Vienna

Another great, relaxed dining establishment is this modern Italian restaurant, Pizza Mari’, where you can indulge in some authentic Neapolitan pizza. Many fans claim it to be the home of Vienna’s best pizza, which you can enjoy for a reasonable price! 

In the wormer months, diners can sit outside to enjoy their pizza, and you can even wash it all down with a delicious hot cup of coffee thanks to the on-site coffee roastery. There’s also a lively park just around the corner, called The Augrten, where you can enjoy a brisk, after-dinner stroll!

Café Kandl, Neubau

A recent hit with the young creative crowd that lives in Vienna, this is place to go if you’re a younger solo traveler looking to find your community! Attracting many solo shoppers on days out, as well as tourists looking to enjoy a slice of local life, this cool Middle Eastern restaurant serves up modern Tel-Aviv-style breakfasts, lunches, and dinners!

Grab one of the outside tables, and indulge in some delicious shakshuka, or, if you stop here early enough, an Israeli Breakfast, before you head out shopping to find some of Vienna’s best artisanal food products!

Light of Creation, Votive Church Immersive Light Show

Light of Creation is a stunning, 30-minute long, immersive light show, that takes place in Vienna’s beautiful Votive Church. Inspired by the story of Genesis, it’s a spectacular show of light and sound that captures the essence of the creation of the universe.

Through six unique acts, you can experience an artistic interpretation of the creation of the universe, from the birth of light, to the creation of land and water, and to the emergence of life! Even if you’re not religious, this is an experience that’s sure to blow your mind and is a wonderful insight into the culture of religion in Austrian culture today.

Vivaldi The Four Seasons & Mozart in the Musikverein

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is one of the most famous musical performances of all time, and what better place to see this than in the halls of the beautiful, world-famous Musikverein, right in the heart of Vienna?!

Listen to these melodic Viennese classics by Mozart and Haydn, performed by a live orchestra as you take in the grandiosity of this spectacular venue. Looking for a truly unique experience? Visit the breathtaking Baroque Winter Riding School to see a performance of the famous Lipizzaner. With classic Viennese music and exhilarating riding performances, this show promises an unforgettable experience.

The ballet of the white stallions is a result of years of training from both these beautiful horses and their riders, and The Spanish riding school is actually the world’s only institution to have practiced classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the Haute Ecole for more than 450 years! Vienna's Kunsthistorisches Museum is a truly stunning spot for those interested in art and houses a wide range of historical pieces, ranging from Ancient Egyptian works to pieces from the late 18th century.

There are plenty of noticeable pieces on display here, from the likes of Rubens, Rembrandt, Raphael, Velázquez, and goldsmiths such as  Benvenuto Cellini.
