The hotel is pretty newly remodeled.
I have been traveling for many years and using Booking.com. This hotel and the experienced I had during my stay was by far the worst ever. First night I got there I had request a room far away from high traffic noise like the elevator and ice machine. Well the only room they said they had available put me right next to the ice machine. It was past 11 pm and I could hear the people on top of my room moving furniture and causing a lot of noise. I finally fell asleep after 12 midnight. At 12:47 am someone used a key to enter the room. Both my friend and I were startled! We screamed get out and the person said the hotel front desk had assigned them to the room. I called the front desk and the lady who answered, just said I sorry that happened! She did not care about our safety. I text a message about the incident and the same girl responded saying the manager would be in the morning after 12 pm. We got back to the hotel around 3 pm and was told the manager had left for the day. Our keys were deactivated and we could not get in the room. Had to go back downstairs to get new keys. We told the person what had happened. He said the manager had left when he came in to try him after 7 am the next day. We requested our room be cleaned and it wasn’t even though we responded to the text they had sent about cleaning request! The next day we tried to get in touch and again another person said he is not available. I was very frustrated and the young lady and bartender were very apologetic about the situation. The lady called the manager and he told her to give me a business card and I needed to write to him about the incident. He would not talk to me. I emailed the manager and he never responded. The lady said the manager would be in the next day and he said to come and see him then. I told her we were checking out of the hotel early because we had an event to attend. She said he would be in around 9:30 am.
I did not like that you have to pay extra for parking. That is something you need to disclose when a customer is making their reservations.
Room was large and beautiful. Very clean with comfortable beds.
Apparently the city has decided to place speakers on the parking garage right outside the Hotel! Classical music blasts from these speakers for hours on end. The music starts at 0700 and is Very Loud. Sleeping was a big problem. The City needs to stop this music, or at least be considerate of others and turn down the volume.
Everything. Location…price…comfort.
Absolutely nothing. Loved everything.
Lovely clean hotel nice big room and bathroom. Good location and nice staff.
