All aspects of the Yotel stay were perfect. Especially very good experience during check-in as well as checkout by Miss Payal. Room service was very good as well.
Nothing!
The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient enough for my business trip, in an area that felt safe.
I found the room claustrophobic and uncomfortable. The room is so small that the bed retracts to create enough room to walk around. Even though I was alone, it felt cramped; the room could sleep three, but I cannot imagine navigating the space with three people and three suitcases. The overhead bunk, above part of the main bed, added to the claustrophobic feeling. I bumped my head on it many times. The sink was so tiny it was impossible to wash my face without getting water on the floor. The shower design was very uncomfortable if you don't want to wash your hair (many women don't wash their hair every day), because the only choices were an overhead rain shower or a wand that, when hooked to the wall (most comfortable when using two hands to wash or shave legs) hit me right in the head (and I am 5'8" tall), and could not be adjusted to aim it downward. I felt like I was paying 4-star prices for a budget motel room. I can't imagine ever choosing a Yotel again, now that I understand what it's like.
I stay here every time I am in Boston and always have a good experience.
The basic rooms are very small, but upgrading to a Queen or King Room is cost-effective compared to other hotels nearby.
Room has everything we needed, loads of options for charging phones etc. clean. Loved the location ~ excellent, ! Big bathroom
Did not like “folding” bed. When fully flat to sleep was jammed up against wall. 1 person having to climb over bed to get to bathroom- not ideal in middle of night!!! Smell of used cooking oil throughout hotel from downstairs bar/ kitchen was disgusting- they need to change:/clean it daily!!!
