The only good thing is the location
Ac not cooling,breakfast not good
It was clean and right on the beach. Probably helps that put room located near towards the beach .
Quite and clean beach to swim . And pleasant ambiance.
We stayed in a grand delux villa and it was perfect, right next to the pool and right next to the beach
Nothing
Stayed here 11 years ago and the hotel is still wonderful. Love the new dining area for breakfast etc.
The fact that you had to pay for ice, no where we have stayed in the world do they charge you for ice!
Breakfast had a good selection. The beach was lovely.
Rude and argumentative reception staff. Very noisy. Given twin beds instead of doubles. Aircon not great.
Location. We paid a lot of money for a sea views. This is an amazing location and the beach is stunning. I dont want to criticise this hotel as we have had a lovely holiday. However, I would like to recommend some changes to help improve this hotel. The rooms need an update. There are No additional luxury items in this room. Ear buds and shower cap are the only complimentary items. The shampoo etc in communal plastic old broken bottles. Poor quality, towels, sheets and curtains threadbare and need replacing. Or if you paid for these expensive rooms, change the linen for these rooms only. The Free mini bar is just a fridge. Nothing free. Only supplied two bottles of water a day. Not acceptable for the price of the room. The plug sockets are old, out of date and in need of replacement. Bed very comfortable. Wood furniture broken and very aged. Needs replacing. One surface in particular was repaired by floor Lino fixed in place by an industrial stapler. Not what I would expect in any hotel. Let alone one this expensive. They make fantastic cocktails here, but quite expensive. WiFi excellent. Staff generally excellent. we paid extra to update our daughters room. She was on her honeymoon. Her original room was not acceptable. We didnt have any issues with updating her room and accepted that she could not have this room for the duration of her stay due to the hotel being full. This cost us 650 extra on top of the 850 they had already paid. They were moved on the last two nights to a room with single beds. Not what you want in your honeymoon. My main issue with this was the response of the reception staff when my daughter and son in law tried address the bed situation . The staff were rude and lied about what arrangements my husband and I had agreed to.
When we arrived at the hotel the check in was poor. We were given no information on the hotel itself. My overall issue with this booking was that I had booked through booking.com. Whenever I contacted the hotel to ask about transfer arrangements and what was included in the booking I was given little or no information. I was treated as a second class customer. I kept being told that because we booked through booking.com and not directly to the hotel, we were not entitled to any extras, that other customers were offered. I have added a picture of what direct customers are offered. The manager was not directly rude, but I felt very uncomfortable. On the last day he must have realised that we were not happy and he did allow us to stay in the room longer prior to flying. We were told we had to pay for transfer to the airport. On questioning this he didnt charge us. Had we not been direct and honest with him he would have charged. After paying over 3000 to this hotel I do believe some changes should be put in place for future travellers. Very noisy in our room as it was located next door to a restaurant. Also on a flight path close, noises .this cant be helped.
