Alas Petulu Villa Resort and Spa

Ohhhh, everything. I didnt find this villa available for more days in our period time cause we wanted more. It was perfect, paradise. We had a private pool villa, and was so nice really loved it. We spent all the time at the villa for not missing any moment.

We loved every moment.

Beautiful spacious room in a lush green & peaceful jungle setting. So many breakfast options & such lovely friendly staff run this place, ready to help with anything you need. We used the airport pick up service & also the on-site gym. Its very easy to walk to the main centre of Ubud, theres also restos/laundry/Pilates right on the hotel street.

There was a permanent smell coming from the shower & sink drains, it wasnt pleasant but we know the water systems in Bali are not always great. We chose to ignore it, the room & everything else was honestly perfect.

Staff were lovely and the gardens are beautiful. The villa was comfortable and spacious if a little dark. Bathroom probably needs a little updating. The WiFi was very good. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace. Very attractive pool area although unfortunately there was some building work going on whilst we were there.

The walk along the road to the centre was unpleasant as there are no pavements and a lot of traffic,

Fantastic structure which, despite its proximity to a main road, once you enter it you find yourself in silence without hearing any kind of noise. The host was always available and satisfied our every request. I would recommend it and would go back

The staff is very friendly. We had a cancelled ferry and they really helped us out. The breakfast is really good and the cottages are nice. We also like the privacy we had and the separate terrace. We can also recommend the massages.

- there is not always someone at reception, so you mostly have to look for someone (a suggestion to give a WhatsApp number to guests so they can always reach you) - we had a problem with the toilet and the shower but they did fix it quickly. - we had a squicky bed.

Accommodations are very comfortable. The breakfast options are varied and delicious.

The family who runs the resort is very friendly and caring for every guests. They took care of our needs and you feel like living as extended family then guests there. The property is very beautiful and rooms are clean, bed comfy and safe.

Our two rooms require walking by the swimming pool and up and down some bigger steps before approaching to the actual room. Though the place is splendid , it would be good to know that the location of these particular rooms with respect to the entrance.
