Had a superb stay at Nido Verde. Roberto was very helpful and hospitable from advising how to get to the BNB from Napoli to checking in daily regarding itinerary and providing advice on how to get there or recomendations for things to do. And he would also check in to see how the day was upon return. At the end of my stay he even drove me to the bus stop to catch a train to Sorrento as that bus stop was further out than the bus stop to Amalfi. The room was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony to look out from and some air. The breakfasts on the patio in sun or shade were delicious and a great way to the day. The BNB is in a central location in Bomerano with a variety of restaurants and the bus stop to Amalfi a short walk away. It's also very close to the start of the Sentiero degli Dei hike to Positano which I would highly recommend. There was even a festival going on in town one of the nights and it was a lot of good food and music. Bomerano is more peaceful than the other larger towns on the Amalfi Coast like Positano and Amalfi so it was nice to return to after the hustle and bustle during the day. Would definitely recommend this place to those looking to explore the Amalfi Coast.
Roberto was the most helpful person in whole of europe. He knows everything in the Amalfi Coast. He guided us through everything.. beaches, hikes, restaurants, transportation, and everything. He helped us book a car. Everyday he prepared amazing breakfast for us. Lastly, if it wasnt for him we would have surely missed our train in Napoli. SUPER HOST! Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and a safe place.
The location is very central. The shops around were less touristy so everything is cheaper there. However the only way to get to the other places like Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano.. was with the Sita Bus unfortunately the bus was controlling our time too much because of the schedule. we were better off with a car. Its more expensive but its worth it. Its a beautiful drive anyways and youll find yourselves wanting to rent a taxi which is super expensive. Avg. 35 minutes drive to anywhere on the coast. Rent a car its a bit stressful but take it slow its doable!
