CarvoeiroLocation and view are unbeatable!!! The staff are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is lovingly prepared and served.
Bathrooms a bit small and water leaks out of shower. Not a lot of place to put things.
The location is superb and the views are spectacular. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean with a beautiful terrace and a small kitchen area which we werent expecting
Castelo guest house is in a great location overlooking the beach in Carvoeiro. Carvoeiro is a very charming town on the beach in Algarve and was nice, quiet and peaceful in November. It seems that this town is a hotspot for British and German tourists and ex-pats. Castelo's staff was great, it is a small hotel / b&b that has a nice clean, cozy vibe to it. We stayed here for the end of our Honeymoon and enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach and restaurants. We also easily visited Ferragudo and Portimao from here. Great place to watch the sunset or take a short walk to the beach or the miroduros. Breakfast was great and delivered to the room in cute picnic baskets for breakfast in bed or on the terrace. Rooms are on the smaller side but cozy and still have good storage, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Book this place for the view, and go and enjoy the town.
Only downside to the stay is that the walls are paper thin, we were on our honeymoon and given room 4, which has an amazing view of the ocean, but is literally right behind the reception desk and practically located in the lobby. You could hear staff delivering breakfast and working in the lobby in the morning, guests coming in/out and felt like we had to keep our voices down or were not really in a private room because of this.
The breakfast was delicious!! Our location was great - sunshine and a beautiful view !!
We were very satisfied with everything about our stay
Fantastic location. The staff was very friendly and helpful with excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast on the terrace was perfect. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely room with a huge balcony. From there, with my binoculars, I was able to watch Peregrine Falcons, Black Redstarts, Sardinian Warblers and Dolphins out in the bay. The staff were friendly, the breakfasts top notch and our room and ensuite was made spotlessly clean each day.
It was nice and clean. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast for 8 euros was great. We drove right there easy with directions from bookings link. (Important to me). The walk along sea boardwalk is amazing and so close.
Our room said sea view. We paid extra for the sea view. It needs to say partial see view or obstructed sea view. I would not have been disappointed at all if it just said what it is. It was a lovely room, just say it like it is please,
The hospitality by the desk staff was outstanding. She recommended 2 great restaurants to enjoy Portuguese local specialties
