ParisPerfect!! this is our second time and we liked rooms, location, hospitality
The staff, accommodations and amenities were excellent, compared to other hotels Ive stayed in in near vicinity. I would definitely recommend this fantastically situated hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Also, I loved interior design. It gave me lots of ideas for when I go home.
It was great. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Great location. Nice interior. Helpful staff.
The hotel is a lovely traditional Parisian accommodation in a great location. Situated a short walk from Odeon Station, and also around the corner from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, the hotel provides the perfect base for a stay in Paris. There are a some great cafs and restaurants nearby the hotel. Highly recommend a lovely place called Treize for a great breakfast or brunch, a short walk away from the hotel and opposite Luxembourg Gardens. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Le Senat as a good place to stay for a visit to Paris.
The room was smaller than expected but adequately equipt for a comfortable stay. The main entrance to the hotel is locked later in the evening, we had to wait a while before the night receptionist came to let us in. The lift is tiny and dark so felt a bit claustrophobic going up four floors!
This was the second time my family stayed at this boutique hotel as we liked the quiet location. Although the hotel is a little far from the Odeon metro station, it is quiet, 200 meters from the Luxembourg Park and 5 minutes walk from the Pantheon. There are many boutiques, restaurants and bars around. A 5-minute walk is the supermarket where the Logo is a comma. The two standard rooms booked this time are not big. The first time I checked in was a deluxe room, I remember it was a Loft structure, and the children loved it. The hotel is a buffet breakfast, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, eggs.
The first thing that needs to be improved is that the drainage system of the washbasin is very poor and it takes a long time for the water to be drained. During the stay, there was another incident. My friend from Paris came to visit me at the hotel and we were talking outside the hotel because my friend was smoking. Since the conversation was long, my friend and I wanted to go to the small courtyard outside the hotel lobby and sit down to continue the conversation. The lobby staff came over and said, "No! Because there are Windows in the rooms of the guests in the courtyard, I am worried that the noise will affect the rest of the guests. My friend replied to the staff in French: OK, we don't go to the outdoor yard, just talk in the lobby for a while. These warnings are normal, and we have complied with public morality! Also pay attention to the size of your voice. But to my great displeasure, the next morning, as I finished breakfast with my family and prepared to go out, this short, hairless male staff member told me once again that there were residents' Windows in the yard and warned me to pay attention. I was upset, first, that I didn't need to be reminded twice, and that my family and I were planning to go out for fun and not go to the yard at all. Second, I think it is biased against Chinese people! I don't speak French, otherwise I have to reason with this staff member!! My family and I are polite and cultured people!
Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room decor. Clean room and toilets.
The square shaped pillows aren't too comfortable
The room was incredibly clean and the space for a standard double room was greater than expected. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious. Staff were also extremely welcoming and accommodating both upon arrival as well as beforehand - a quick questionnaire was sent out to understand any relevant needs of the guests prior to arrival which was very useful. After checkout, we enquired about leaving the luggage at the hotel's reception for a couple of hours which was facilitated promptly and at no extra cost. The location of the hotel itself is great - closest metro being Odon, on the Metro (line 4) which is a direct route from Gare du Nord. The surroundings of the hotel lead just to the Luxembourg Palace's Gardens which is a beautiful place, close to trending neighbourhoods such as St Germain des Pres and the Latin Quarter. One of the best stays in Paris for us so far!
