We were upgraded to a large room in the 2nd tower with a view of the bridge. Some nights we didnt want to leave our room because the view couldnt be beat. As Americans, we also loved the true Queen sized bed instead of two twins.
Though the view was excellent, there were less restaurants in close proximity for a quick meal.
The property was in a great location. And it was clean and cared for. However, as is common with other corporate hotels, it didnt have a warm feel to it. For the price point, I had hoped for a little more like a gym or a pool. The decor was fairly cold and not very welcoming. Again, I was a nice location. That was the one positive.
As I said it was fairly cold. Even the upstairs terrace didnt have a warm and inviting feel. When you walk in the door you enter a fairly small space. There is no bellman, no greater, nothing special that made you excited to be staying in Porto. I was also disappointed that it lacked facilities such as a gym.
Location was brilliant, overlooking the Douro and within east level strolling of the old quarter with its many restaurants and bars. The rooftop bar was a lovely area to spend some chillax time with its views up and down the river. The breakfasts were really good and set you up for the day, well, until lunch time.
Nothing! All was great, with the staff being particularly helpful.
Great location, amazing views from the rooms, friendly staff and large rooms.
Water and other essentials are not replenished every day. Its given only once at check in
Very comfy, excellent breakfast
Overpriced rooftop bar
A clean and big room with a most beautiful river and bridge view
