Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa

Checked in. Received all of the normal instructions from the welcoming reception staff. Went to the room. No running water. Went back to front desk. Oh yeah, we are having a problem. No water on the entire property since last night. Don't know when it will be resolved. A colleague will be delivering bottled water to the room sometime later today. Really? Asked to speak to the manager, and she was nice enough to reverse the credit card charge from 15 minutes prior. And thanks to Booking app, we were able to find another room close by and move on. Kudos to the manager for handling a nightmare situation very professionally, at least with us.

Excellent place to spend a restful holiday with your family, especially with little kids. Spacious and very clean apartments.

Maybe the food, in particular the dinner buffet, was below the overall quality of the hotel.

Old Bathrooms in desperate need of updating Food in main Restaurant dreadful and overpriced. Bedrooms had insufficient power points, nothing near the mirrors.

Everything was well laid out and very clean. The views were very beautiful.

Just a bit far from from everywhere. Nothing within walking distance like a local mini grocery store.

We loved everything about the hotel, our kids particularly loved the breakfast. Thank you for everything

The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Staff were great and friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool and having a playground near by. Spa and gym were lovely as well.

Food for dinner was not great, especially for the price. Pillows were uncomfortable (needed to be softer)

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable and so big that we ended up sleeping parents and 2 kids together most of the nights. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Some of the spa facilities were bot functioning but the inside pool was very nice.

Not many beds in the indoor pool so most of the time we couldn't place our towel anywhere

The hotel is secure, safe and relaxing. We love the space and tranquility. Its lovely having nature all round. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the things you need for a self catering holiday. The bar serves a good range of snacks and meals. The location is great for visiting nearby towns, villages and beaches if you have a car.

The slippers are all one size and rather small.
