The beautiful garden/park. The classy atmosphere. The cuisine, the friendly staff, the beautiful room with air conditioning
Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff
Wonderful rooms, lovely location very close to the city centre, nice restaurants etc. Very central.
As grand as it looks, inside it doesnt do that justice. Restaurant is boring, the lobby is cramped and the walk to the rooms is overly long
The restaurant was very basic for such a large Hotel with a limited menu so we like most of the other guests dined in town. You also had to park the car 300mts away at a cost of euros13, very inconvenient.
Location and personell
Too expensive
Splendid old and impressive hotel with renewed rooms. Small but comfortable room with terrace and view on the park. Excellent breakfast budget with all hygienic measures.
The toilet broke and I asked for a water boiler, both things took more than a day before they were solved. Though the personnel was very friendly, but the communication with the technical department took a while.
Staff (both front desk and restaurant) were very nice and helpful. The hotel has nice public spaces. Very clean. Room was quite small and bathroom was not big but good space to put things and nice big shower. There was a safe and plenty of closet space. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. The tables were nicely spread out so no Corona stress there. They had a beautiful buffet of everything you could ask for and we felt very safe as masks and gloves were required by everyone going through the buffet. Location is lovely, convenient to the bike path and right across from a huge park and one minute walk from streets with stores and restaurants. Bike storage in a locked garage. Dinner in the Bistro was quite good.
I think the room was quite small for the price. Said it came with a minibar but there was just an empty refrigerator. As mentioned above, we ate dinner in the Bistro (their website says there is another restaurant but the Bistro was the only option at this time). Only odd thing was that none of the tables in the restaurant were set for dinner (except two that were fully set with candles, linen napkins, silverware and nice wine glasses). I totally understand that clean tables are a must right now but would have looked nicer to have the tables set. The inside bar, which looked really nice, was not open.
