BermeoLovely guest house
Traditional house, good sitting out area, friendly, English-speaking staff and excellent breakfast. Guernica is a 30-minute drive away and well worth the journey.
The road was quite busy but little noise penetrated the room we were in. The accommodation is away from any town - the nearest is Bermeo about 5 km away - leaving only one restauraunt in the area. More information about what to see, including a map of the area, would have been beneficial.
The confort and the style
De road behind
The room was spacious and big. Mrs. from reception is really helpful and communicative. Everyday clean of the whole room was suprise, but really enjoy it. Very friendly place to stay with the dog and with fantastic view. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasteful and wide of variety.
There is no additional chair in the room. The loudliness in the room by the motorway was not comfortable but I know that is very hard to protect against it. More powersockets near to bed will be good.
So comfortable, clean, friendly, great location, free parking. People complain about the road being noisy - its really not that big of a deal: I slept soundly in an incredibly comfortable bed
Would be great if there were communal facilities to make a hot drink (or even be able to have a cup of hot water to make a herbal before bed.
This is a very nice base to visit Bilbao. It was a bit unfortunate that they no longer serve as a restaurant, but 700 meter down the road there is a superb place to have dinner. The view from that restaurant is stunning. The breakfast offered by the hotel was also great, but we choose to have breakfast on the second and third day of our stay in this other place. just for the stunning view.
The hotel is near a road with passing traffic, which can be noisy. The hotel is definitely worthed but bring earplugs.
