Due to the bedroom being next to a pedestrian crossing we experienced no proper sleep the whole time. Street cleaners came outside the bedroom at 5:50am EVERY morning. At 9am cleaners made a racket in the hallway one day. Another day without warning window cleaners started banging on our bedroom window. Despite being on our honeymoon and it being my wife's birthday we were given no compensation, no help, not rehoused, no help was offered to us at all.. In other words the customers needs were considered zero despite it being a highly personal trip. There are drop boxes outside the flat but instead of the keys being in them we had to travel miles out of our way to pick them up and drop them off. The shower head was filthy and the walls of the bathroom. We were greeted with fire warnings! We were told to study fire procedures. If anyone knows anything about psychology warning someone as a first impression creates fear and mental unease. How likely is a fire? o.ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo1% chance? but we're made to feel afraid! Because of the noise pollution we couldn't read, rest, sit in the living room or bedroom but had to spend time sleeping in the kitchen. The neighbours above stomp about causing early morning noise too. The pipes from the neighbours make noise when they use them. The car park out back is very small so be warned if you have a large car. The front door opens immediately to another door. There is no light available to help you see. Trying to use keys in the dark in a very confined space with a door that requires two hands to open - key and handle - was not good. The cups were dirty (dried milk?). The floor had food in the cracks (peanuts?) The cooker was temperamental. It came on it went off. It got hot then cool. I like a cooker that you put it on, it comes on, and stays on. The duvet was very thin and we were cold at night. There were no extra duvets. Bedroom heating didn't work.
location, quality towels and bedding, full equipped kitchen.
parking space was too small even for medium sized car. fridge didnt get cold, microwave and grill pan hadnt been cleaned and dishwasher needed salt and rinse aid.
Central location, handy for town. Lounge and bedroom comfortable.
Black mould around bath, wash basin and kitchen sink. Toilet seat too small, so you sit partially on toilet rim. Toilet not completely clean on arrival. Noise from flat above.
Brilliant location
If the public transport ran later could have had a night in Bo'ness
I could not unlock the backdoor so could not take the bin out for collectionn!
Great little flat perfect location . Had a lovely stay.Complimentary wine was a nice touch
Collected from combination lock box from company office after hours. Easy to access
Second door needs to have key turned AND door handle. No signs to say this and we were worried we wouldnt be able to get in. Took a while to figure it out but prior instruction or a sticker on the door would be great!
