Sunstar Hotel Arosa

It was really clean. Staff were very obliging and friendly. The view from our room was gorgeous. Waiter in the restaurant was really pleasant and attentive. Great spa facilities. Perfect for a few days break to get away and enjoy yourself. Our dinner was fantastic, the best pasta dish I have had in a very long time. Loved the special touch of having a small herbal tea choice in the spa area. The resting room was like heaven with the most awesome lying chairs and spectacular views.

For our purpose this time , the hotel location was perfect. However for other activities I would say it is not as close to the train station and gondelas as I would have hoped - but other than that the hotel was perfect.

Perfect place to stay with kids, the play area was amazing, the pool was useful and the views are absolutely incredible.

Spacious room, good facilities for children: indoor playground, swimming pool, nice breakfast with essentials , good dinner. Beatiful view from the balcony, kind receptionist

Pool quite cold The building is rather outdated, but this is with most hotels in Switzerland, extremely long waiting for dinner - 1 hour.

Very good hotell for families with children

The staff was really supportive and helpful for all things related to kids: we got a water boiler to prepare the little one's milk, and the staff looking after the kids were really perfect, and allowed us to spend time at the bar, a rare luxury. The swimming pool was a big hit and we really appreciated the massages.

While breakfast was perfectly fine, evening meals were overpriced and neither healthy nor good. When the kid's spaghetti with tomato sauce is not good, you really failed at cooking Either have la carte dishes, or a buffet, but having both (overpriced), that's really a horrible combination.
