Well located and convenient. Clean and confortable
All good
Haivng read recent reviews mentioning breakfast not being included I called ahead to check, and was told that there is a minimal breakfast included. This was indeed what I found. The minimal breakfast included toast/butter/jelly, waffle/syrup, cornflakes/milk, fruit, muffin, juice and tea/coffee. Pretty basic, but enough to get the day started. The main areas and rooms in the hotel seem to have been updated recently, and the state of the place was good. The room was clean and had enough furniture and amenities to make my stay comfortable (fridge, desk to work on). Wifi was also included. All in all this was a cheap hotel near New Haven, and I got what I paid for (no frills), but it was better than other cheap options I've used in this area. I would come back to this place, where I might choose not to with some of the other places I've stayed recently in New Haven.
It's clean, there's a coffee machine in each room (an essential in my book :), the staff were all friendly & helpful. I liked being close to the marina, it's minutes away from downtown. All in all, it was good, so much so, that we had a split stay in New Haven & we returned to the Inn after our original stay. I can definitely recommend.
One of the rooms we stayed in had some roof water damage, but that's the only negative that I can think of. The damage was more unsightly than anything else, so it wasn't major.
