Great Location - Easy to walk to nearby restaurants/bars
The elevator in the hotel and parking garage did not work. Signage to get out of the hotel by stairwell was poor. We ended up in an alley be the garbage to get out.
Location; hotel is in the heart of campus (Bloomington) and provided easy access to food and shopping
Room placement - it was a last minute booking BUT we were given a room right off the street and oh my goodness ... it was noisy all night with traffic and college students partying!!
Staff was very unfriendly, WiFi didnt work during the entire stay + room faced the parking garage, which was very noisy during the night
Ce Ce was an excellent resource and extremely professional. A true credit to her profession.
The check in was a very positive experience which set the for the high level of service I received throughput my stay
Location. Front desk was VERY responsive. 5 stars
Fire alarm went off at 4:45 am. it ruined our day completely. Not sure what the cause was but I would hope for some remediation.
The location. A few staff members.
Initially, I reserved two nights at $700/night for IU family weekend. Then, we decided to come for the week (Tues - Sat). Our afternoon arrival had us checking in and finding our accessible room, which we didnt request. We decided to wait and see how showering was before requesting a new room. We went down to Coaches and were sad to find an empty, quiet, lonely bar. Drinks were abysmal down to the rotting lime placed on the glass. When we asked if they were ready for the upcoming weekend, they said they never really know what bto expect but probably wont be too busy. The restaurant has an identity crisis. Great breakfast but terrible bar. Elevators - only one working. Shower in accessible room didnt work for us at all. Moved from accessible room near 6 am garbage truck dumpster service to second floor over the top of the entrance, lots of noise. Toilet handle stuck. TV didnt work even after calling tech to help. Unfortunately, the staff was not prepared to deliver $700/night service!! They were complacent, disorganized, and ill equipped to deliver the kind of service that management priced its units at for this event. I hold management responsible for the disconnect that was a problem for most of us staying at the hotel. We heard a number of complaints about rooms, billing, confusion about who was in what room, etc. during our stay. Hilton is usually pretty on brand but they have a project here if they want to stay in the area. Its a tight network. Hoosiers will tell each other what works and what doesnt, and this doesnt work. Great location though.
Great location, and nice, clean room!
We stayed back in mid-June. They really need to get their back elevator fixed if it's not by now, so that you can take luggage directly to and from the garage, which is really the only parking option other than a small loading area. From reviews I saw, it looks like this has been an issue for months, which isn't acceptable. And the staff didn't give us any warning ahead of time that this would be an issue. Thankfully, we're able-bodied, but this would have created a major inconvenience for others.
Its proximity to our destination.
I would have liked a mini sink in the kitchenette area. But other than that, it was fine.
